Formwork joiner wanted in Atkinson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Atkinson County, Georgia. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. On a typical shift you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
