Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Decatur County, Indiana. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
