Sheet metal welder wanted in Garvin County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Garvin County, Oklahoma. On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
