Semi-automatic welder wanted in Newton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Newton County, Mississippi. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Performance bonus on top of base pay.
