The role involves: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
