GTAW welder wanted in Fulton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Fulton County, New York. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Rotating shifts. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
