Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Decatur County, Kansas. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools Day to day you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain.
