Excavator operator wanted in City of Portsmouth

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. You will work at a landfill site. On a typical shift you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
