Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Lincoln County, Tennessee. The job is in an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Day to day you will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket.
