Sheet metal press operator wanted in Cheshire West and Chester

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading 3+ years on the tools preferred. £2,650 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
