Vacancy available: fabricator-welder (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
