Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Storey County, Nevada. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension.
