Foundry operative wanted in Mercer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Mercer County, North Dakota. The job is on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
