Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Gogebic County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
