Rebar foreman wanted in Fulton County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Fulton County, Illinois. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
