Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Benton County, Mississippi. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
