Sand plant operator wanted in Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Jasper County, Iowa. The role involves: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
