We are recruiting: rebar worker (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
