Great opportunity: tracked excavator operator (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Menominee County, Michigan. You will work in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
