Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Burnett County, Wisconsin. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Six days a week, one day off.
