Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Hamilton County, Illinois. Requirements: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Day-to-day duties: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well Rotating shifts.
