Production welder wanted in Wapello County

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Wapello County, Iowa. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
