Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Mercer County, Missouri. The job is at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
