You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing The role involves: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss Six days a week, one day off.
