Stainless steel welder — Worcestershire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Worcestershire, England. The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
