Argon arc welder — Nemaha County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Nemaha County, Nebraska. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
