Join our team: we are hiring a marble fitter in Franklin County, Nebraska. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. Your main tasks: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets You should have: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Full-time with occasional weekends.
