The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
