You should have: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems The role involves: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
