Urgent requirement: we are hiring a forklift operator in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy distribution centre. The role involves: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting • Stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris Requirements: • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required Six days a week, one day off.
