Precision welder — Canadian County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Canadian County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Rotating shifts.
