CNC milling operator • Jefferson County, Montana

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Jefferson County, Montana. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
