Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in McCormick County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Six days a week, one day off.
