Your main tasks: • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade 4+ years on the tools preferred.
