Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves: • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience.
