Hydraulic crane operator • Franklin County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Franklin County, North Carolina. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Full-time, day shift.
