Great opportunity: restoration bricklayer (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Fife, Scotland. The job is on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
