Tig welder — Strafford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Strafford County, New Hampshire. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
