Great opportunity: die-casting operator (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Overtime paid at a premium rate.
