Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Jones County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Requirements: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips The role involves: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
