Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Abia State. The job is at a garment factory. You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
