Ladle pourer • Hall County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Hall County, Georgia. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
