Immediate opening: garment machinist (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Atkinson County, Georgia. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
