Sand plant operator wanted in Lauderdale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Lauderdale County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Meals and transport allowance provided.
