Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Vance County, North Carolina. You will be based at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
