Now hiring: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Bland County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
