Heavy goods vehicle driver wanted in Argyll and Bute

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. On a typical shift you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing £95 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
