Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Stokes County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork On a typical shift you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
