Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car painter in Rock Island County, Illinois. You will work in a spray booth. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
