On a typical shift you will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery.
